How to Create an Interviewer

Once you have an Interviewer Template ready (either from the library or one you created), you can create specific Interviewer instances based on it.

Steps​

  1. Navigate to Your Project: Go to the Projects section and select the Project where this Interviewer should belong.

  2. Go to the Interviewers Section: Within the Project, find the tab or section labeled "Interviewers".

  3. Initiate Creation: Click the button labeled "Create Interviewer", "New Interviewer", or similar.

  4. Configure the Interviewer: A form will appear asking for details:

    • Interviewer Name: (Required) Give this specific instance a name. This name might be shown to the interviewee, so make it appropriate (e.g., Feedback Bot for Website, Support Assistant, Jane - Research Interviewer).
    • Description: (Optional) Add internal notes about this specific interviewer instance.
    • Interviewer Template: (Required) Select the template you want this interviewer to use from the dropdown list. This determines the AI's core behavior and focus. (See Using Library Templates or Creating Custom Templates).
    • Other Settings (Optional): Depending on the platform, you might see other configuration options specific to the Interviewer instance (these override or supplement template settings but are less common).

  5. Save the Interviewer: Click "Create" or "Save".

Result​

Your new Interviewer instance now appears in the Interviewers list within your Project. It is linked to the template you selected.

Important: Creating the Interviewer doesn't automatically make it available to others. You still need to activate and configure its Shareable Link.
