Managing Your Interviewer Instances
Once you have created Interviewer instances, you'll need ways to manage them within your Project.
Finding Your Interviewers
- Navigate to Your Project: Go to the Projects section and select the relevant Project.
- Open Interviewers Tab: Click on the "Interviewers" tab or section.
- View List: You should see a list of all Interviewer instances created within that Project. The list might show details like Name, associated Template, Status (Active/Inactive), creation date, and potentially statistics like the number of completed interviews.
Activating / Deactivating Interviewers
Deactivating an interviewer is a non-destructive way to temporarily disable it and its shareable link without deleting it permanently.
- How: Look for a toggle switch, a status dropdown (Active/Inactive), or specific "Activate" / "Deactivate" buttons associated with each interviewer in the list or within its settings.
- Effect: A deactivated interviewer typically cannot be accessed via its shareable link, even if the link itself is configured as active.
- Use Cases: Temporarily pausing a feedback campaign, disabling an interviewer after a project phase is complete.
Deleting Interviewers
Deleting an interviewer instance is usually a permanent action.
- Select Interviewer(s): In the Interviewers list, select the instance(s) you want to delete (e.g., using checkboxes or individual delete icons).
- Confirm Deletion: Click the "Delete" button. You will likely be asked to confirm the action.
Consequences of Deleting:
- The Interviewer instance is permanently removed.
- Its associated shareable link will cease to function.
- Completed interview data associated with this interviewer might still be retained (check platform specifics), but you won't be able to initiate new interviews with this specific instance.
- The underlying Template is not deleted; you can still create new interviewers from it.
When to Delete: Use deletion when you are certain you no longer need that specific interviewer instance or its associated link (e.g., cleaning up old tests, removing outdated campaigns).
