Managing Interview Records

Beyond simply viewing interview results, you may need to perform management actions on the individual interview records themselves.

Accessing Interview Records

As described in Viewing Interview Results, you typically access interview records either:

  • Through the specific Interviewer instance they belong to.
  • Via a central Interviews or Results list, potentially within a Project.

This will usually present a list of interviews, showing key information like interviewee details, status, and date.

Viewing Status

The list view often provides a quick glance at the Status of each interview session. Common statuses might include:

  • Completed: The interview finished as expected.
  • In Progress: The interview session is currently active (less common to see unless viewing in real-time).
  • Abandoned / Incomplete: The interviewee left before the session concluded naturally.
  • Error: A technical problem occurred during the session.
  • Scheduled / Not Started: (If applicable) An interview is planned but hasn't begun.

Clicking into an individual record usually shows more detailed status information and the full results.

Deleting Interview Records

You might want to delete specific interview records, for example, to remove test sessions or irrelevant data.

  1. Locate the Record(s): Find the interview(s) you want to delete in the list view.
  2. Select Record(s): Use checkboxes or individual selection options to mark the interviews for deletion.
  3. Initiate Deletion: Click the "Delete" button or icon.
  4. Confirm: You will likely need to confirm the deletion, as it is often permanent.

Caution:

  • Deleting an interview record permanently removes its associated data (transcript, session data, etc.) from the platform.
  • Ensure you no longer need the data before deleting.
  • This action deletes the interview record, not the Interviewer instance or its Template.

Other Potential Actions

Depending on the platform's features, you might also be able to:

  • Export Data: Select interviews and export their data (transcripts, extracted info) to formats like CSV or JSON.
  • Tagging/Categorizing: Apply tags or categories to interviews for better organization and filtering.
  • Bulk Actions: Perform actions like deleting or exporting on multiple selected interviews at once.

This concludes the documentation on the core user workflow for Agent Interviews.
