Ready to harness the power of AI for gathering feedback or insights? Agent Interviews makes it easy to create and deploy AI agents that conduct interviews and generate insights in real time. This guide walks you through the essential steps to get your first interviewer up and running quickly.

Goal: Launch a basic AI interviewer focused on your topics and insights, and start collecting feedback instantly.

Step 1: Create a Project​

Everything in Agent Interviews is organized within Projects. Think of a project as a workspace for a specific initiative.

  • Go to the Projects section.
  • Select an existing Project or click "Create Project" to make a new one. Give it a clear name (e.g., "Website Feedback Initiative").

Step 2: Create an Interviewer (Focus, Topics, Insights)​

Within your chosen Project:

  • Navigate to the Interviewers tab or section.
  • Click the "Create Interviewer" or "New Interviewer" button.
  • In the configuration form, set your Interviewer's Focus (the main goal or area of inquiry).
  • Add Topics (what the interviewer will ask about—e.g., product feedback, user experience).
  • Define Insights (what the interviewer should make notes on—e.g., pain points, feature requests, sentiment).
  • Give your Interviewer a clear Name and fill in any other required fields.
  • Click "Save" or "Create".

Step 3: Build & Publish to Your Audience​

  • Use the audience builder in the app to select the demographics or groups you want to target for your interviews.
  • Once your audience is defined, publish your Interviewer directly to them.
  • Alternatively, you can simply use the shareable link to distribute the Interviewer to anyone you choose.
  • Find your newly created Interviewer in the list, click on the "Share", "Generate Link", or "Shareable Link" option, activate and copy the link, and share it via email, your website, or any channel you prefer.

That's it! As people start using the link or as your selected audience receives the Interviewer, you can watch interviews happen in real time and see insights generated instantly in your Project's "Interviews" section.
